Tonight is the night of the first major award show this season, and that is the Golden Globes. Whilst not the most critical or prestige, the Golden Globes never fail to give an entertaining show. This one may be the best yet, as Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg host for the first time, and we have already seen the comedy gold that they can produce whilst hosting together. With Oh potentially winning tonight for her role in Killing Eve and Samberg making it back onto NBC (the channel that shows the Golden Globes) with the hit show Brooklyn Nine-Nine, this is a perfect pairing for 2019 and are certainly going to be a joy to watch on screen.
However, that is not the reason I am posting today. At the end of the day, the awards are here to congratulate the actors, directors and screenwriters among all the backstage crew of their incredible work in TV and film. Whilst I know very little of the TV world and what could or should win, I certainly know the ones to beat in the world of film. In this blog, I will be sharing who I think will win, should win and who could end up winning a Golden Globe tonight in the categories of acting, directing and picture amongst drama and musical/comedy. I have not seen every film on the list, so my should choices may be biased. However, there is certainly huge buzz around numerous actors and directors, and some are just simply set up for a better chance at winning.

Those are my predictions for who will win the Golden Globes. Whilst I am a lot more confident in the Musical/Comedy and Directing categories, there are definitely some tough races. There is a good chance that Rami Malek and Bohemian Rhapsody could shine over A Star is Born, and the Supporting categories are certainly close between all of the competitors. We will find out for sure who the winners are tonight, and I will be live-tweeting the award show over on my twitter. Follow me here to make sure you catch up with all my live reactions as they happen.
