Academy Awards 2021: Predictions (October 4th 2020)

A lot has certainly changed since my last predictions a month ago. With films such as No Time to Die no longer releasing in time for this year’s Academy Awards and other films such as Nomadland and The Trial of the Chicago 7 having their first major screenings, things are perhaps starting to fit in place. Unlike last time, where I simply named who I thought would win each award, these Oscar predictions are going to purely cover the above the line categories and ranking the top five of each one (ten for Best Picture), with the top position being my predicted winner.
